Vintage Tele-Vision Lamp Clock - No. 700 P1 Photo Ident - W.A. Tony Boyle - Mine Workers Union

Offered is a vintage, 1950s Numechron novelty clock-lamp by Pennwood of Pittsburgh, PA. This is a great example of one of these models with the photo, and features a photo of William Anthony “Tough Tony” Boyle, the president of the United Mine Workers of America union from 1963-1972.

Ultimately, Boyle was convicted of 1974 on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. He was sentenced to three life sentences, and died while incarcerated in 1985.

Condition: The clock is in great overall condition. There are a couple scuffs on the outer (brown) part of the cabinet, but no cracks or chips. The front, and the clear back (and original back over) are virtually perfect. Everything works as expected. The original box is also included.

Measures about 5-1/2 inches wide, 3-1/2 inches deep, and 5 inches high.

Pair Vintage Hedi Schoop Art Creations Asian Girls With Parasols - Lamps

Offered is this pair of Hedi Schoop figures of Asian Girls with Parasols, which someone turned into a pair of lamps. These lamp bases were custom made for these figures, likely in the 1960s or 1970s. One would expect these were cherished by their owner to have such elaborate bases made for them. The figurines are off-white and black, with gold highlights. Add shades and they are ready to go.

They have been fully rewired and new solid brass sockets added. The original sockets were aluminum, and were quite worn, so the brass seemed a much more appropriate fit for functionality and appearance.

The figures have no damage that I can see. I felt all the edges and found no chips or repairs. The brass bases show a little wear, but only commensurate with their age. The finials on top look somewhat newer, and are sitting on a small riser.

Pair Vintage Brass 2 Light Candelabra - Amber Drops - Scroll Arms

Offered is this pair of early 1900s brass electric candelabra. They feature scrolled, reeded arms with amber drops and clear crystals and chains.

They have been completely rewired with their original porcelain sockets and are perfectly operational. Can handle up to 60W candelabra bulbs, as well as any LED bulbs.

One is more gold than the other, though they were always together and obtained from the same home. There were a couple crystals missing, so were replaced. All brass, with the exception of the husks at the top/bottom of the center columns.

Offered is a brass flush mount fixture, with a Victorian decorated glass shade. This is a great fixture for a foyer, hallway, smaller kitchen. The brass fixture is not antique, but looks to be maybe 10 years or so old. The shade is old, and came from a Victorian home. The shade looks great, and has some tiny specs of ceiling paint, which you cannot see when installed.

Comes with typical mounting hardware. Rewired and ready to install. Shown lit with soft white and daylight color bulbs.

Large Volkstedt Germany Porcelain Group - Grandmother Family Gathering

Offered is this Antique German Dresden porcelain grouping by Volkstedt. This grouping captures a charming Rococo-era family scene: three children offer floral bouquets and garlands to their seated grandmother, while an elegantly dressed couple looks on. The figures are adorned in detailed 18th-century lace costumes. The sculpture rests on an ornate oval rocaille base, decorated with delicate flowers and gilded accents. Created in the early 20th century, it features a deep blue ink stamp of Volkstedt on the left end.

The figures are all good, and all fingers and appendages are intact. The are a few of the typical losses to some of the Dresden lace, which are all shown in the photos at the end. On the front, about 2/3 to the left is what appears to be a manufacturing defect 'crack', which has to be from when it was fired in the kiln (no porcelain that thick would crack that way after it was made). The images show it's filled in from the underside, or that's at least how it appears to me.

Measures approximately 21"W x 12"D x 15"H.

Will require professional packing at UPS, which is included in the listed shipping.

Brass Modernist/Futuristic Bust/Sculpture by Balos

Offered is this brass bust, which has a modernist and slightly abstract feel, reminiscent of early 20th-century art movements such as Art Deco or Futurism. If you have ever seen robot MARIA in the movie 'Metropolis' you may notice some similarity. We are not sure if this is intentional, but it's surely been noticed by others. Two Paul Milet Cabinet (miniature) Vases

Offered are these two cabinet vases by the very well know French make, Paul Milet. Both have different marks, one being the green MP in a dotted circle, though not quite legible, and the other with a double L Sevres mark.

Both appear to be in very good condition, without any damage that we can see. The darker blue vase has a blob of pink nail polish (or something similar) on the middle gilded part. It is shown from the side as the camera did not want to focus on it facing front (see right side of last photo).

Pair Imari Style Urns or Jars with Foo Dog Lids

Offered is a pair of vintage, solid brass, articulated candelabra. Each has 7 candle holders, and 2 articulated arms, which can be configured in various ways - just turn a thumb-key and move the arms where you want them. Imagine these on a buffet or mantel. Even on a large dining table, they would be right at home.

They are in their aged old patina, but could easily be polished, or polished and lacquered, if desired. Personally, we like them the way they are.

Vintage Southwestern Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

Offered is this Squash Blossom necklace, which has a mark we have not seen, or been able to find. We have Native American Silver Hallmarks - 5th Edition by Bille Hougart, and did not see if there, either.

It's a lovely double strand of fluted sterling beads, and blossoms, with a solid Naja.

The Naja has a mark on back with V VV (actually looks like a V W, but the W is clearly two Vs together). The closest we've seen is William Vandever, though the mark is VV V, all on one line, with the V first.

Pair Antique Baccarat Ruby Stained Medallion Hurricane Candlesticks

Offered is this elegant pair of ruby stained hurricane candlesticks by Baccarat. These are offered exactly as we found them at an estate in Queens Village, NY. Made around 1900, perhaps a little before, they have never been drilled for electric, and only burned candles, though not recently.

The are ruby stained crystal, with enameled white flowers and gilded accents. Each candlestick holds 12 cut spear crystal prisms around the bobesche.

Overall, they are in very good condition. The hurricane shades have a couple chips on a couple of the points, but no cracks. The candlesticks themselves are chip free, and have a little wear to the ruby stain and gilding, as one might expect from well-over-100-year-old pieces. It appears that some of the plaster wore out and the previous owner had the candle cups re-plastered. When one the shades is inserted, it needs to moved until it sits straight, but these are very old and not unexpected.

Antique Glass Dome / Mushroom Lamp Shade - Maple Leaf Decoration

Offered is an antique glass dome lamp shade. This shade is not signed, but it looks like it should be. The interior is sandblasted, and the texture does work well to diffuse light. The exterior is well done too, with a yellow, textured decoration on top, with maple leaves around the middle. Would look especially good on Arts & Crafts lamp.

It's lit with a 3 watt daylight bulb in the 2nd photo.

No cracks, one little chip on fitter, and a small scratch on the side (see last photo)

Vintage Art Glass Scupture - Heavy Magnifying Base

Offered is this art glass sculpture, which resembles 'wings' that reach up touching each other (you can slip a paper between them). We've had it for many years and kept it with our paperweight collection. The base is polished, and there are no marks of any kind that we can find. The base resembles a heavy magnifying glass.

It measures 10-1/2"H, 8-1/2"W (through the middle) and about 6"D. The thick glass on the base stands about 3"H from the bottom.

Mid Century Modern MCM Tall Bischoff Ruby Red Glass Decanter

Offered is this vintage Bischoff ruby red glass decanter. It features a clear handle and a tall, ball-tipped stopper.

It stands tall at 21" overall, and 5-1/2"W at widest. About 15"H without the stopper.

No cracks or chips, and in excellent condition with original label - Hand Crafted by Bischoff.

Bischoff was a West Virginal glass company from 1922 - 1963, after which it was sold to Lancaster Colony. This decanter dates to the original company timeline.

Vintage Cartier Fabric Gift Box MUST Parfum and Eau de Toilette

Offered is this git set of Cartier Must. It features a full, 1 oz bottle of Eau de Toilette, and a 4ml perfume. This is the original Must scent.

The gift box of this type is nearly impossible to find. These just sat on a vanity for some years before being rescued for you.

The gift box has some very minor age related wear, but really displays well. The bottom is a little soiled in a couple spots, and we did not attempt to clean it. See the last photo.

Antique Fritz Heckaert/Adolf Heyden Amber Vase with Brass Filigree

Offered is an antique topaz colored glass vase with brass filigree. Designed by Adolf Heyden for Fritz Heckert. The brass filigree with hollow glass was patented in 1884, and this dates to somewhere in the decade following the patent. These FH/AH filigree vases are few and far between.

Measures 7"H x about 3-1/2"W.

No cracks, chips, or repairs. In quite lovely condition.

Marked on bottom with something not resembling FH. I have consulted a few glass experts, but nobody quite knows what that mark is. To me it looks like 'nnc' with 'K 49' below it. The glass is 100% Fritz Eckert.

Vintage Blenko vase #9423 in Olive/Cobalt - 1995

Offered is a vintage 1995 art glass vase by Blenko. This is vase #9423 in Olive/Cobalt color.

Measures 10-1/2"H x about 6"W.

Excellent condition, and the hole you see where the olive rim meets the cobalt vase is there from when it was made. It truly makes this vase unique, and they were not produced that long.

Offered is a 19th century hand-painted porcelain plaque, painted after The Artist's Children by the German artist Christian Lebrecht Vogel (1759-1816). Features a young boy with golden hair, dressed in clothes of the artists period.

This painting is well done, on a quality porcelain plaque. The plaque itself is impressed on back with a 28, but no makers mark. Painting is also unsigned.

Early 20th Century Large Brass Doll Bed - for dolls up to 23"L

Offered is this large brass doll bed. This lovely bed will accommodate a doll up to 23" long. This does not appear to be one of those common style beds, but more closely resembles a real brass bad of the early 1900s. It even has real wood castors.

In very good condition, with minor age-related wear as one might expect. No dents or cracks that we can see in the brass. The mattress area of the bed was painted gold some time ago. The castors are all present and in good working order, but could use some tightening in the legs.

Antique Brass Billiards 4-Light Fixture - Emeralite Cone Shades

Antique Brass 5 Light Figural Maiden Fixture - Aurene Glass Shades

Offered is this antique 'pan' style light fixture, but in a higher trim level. This one was designed with maidens holding each bulb/shade, which is a big step up from the typical 'pan light'. It's fitted with American made Aurene glass shades.

Fully rewired and ready to hang. At some time in the past, it was polished and lacquered, likely 20-30 years ago. The finish is in pretty good shape, though has some tarnish on the topside, and about 1" ding on the lower half (see last photo)

Machine Age, Art Deco Table by McKay of Pittsburgh

Offered is this scarce, diminutive Art Deco Chrome Table by McKay Company of Pittsburgh, PA. It features a black Bakelite veneer top, which is original. Weight is substantial at 14-1/2 Pounds!

Made in the early to mid 1930s, the quality of McKay chrome plating is excellent. Nearly 100 years later and the chrome is holding up very well. All of the screws appear to be original.

There are some scuffs and age appropriate wear to the chrome, and a patch of slight yellowing along the top outer edge (you can see it in one photo). Also a small ding in the top of the base, also seen in photo. The Bakelite veneer is slightly loose on part of the edge.

The McKay Company, in Pittsburgh, initially made tire chains before moving into auto bumpers. Later, they produced chrome furniture. By the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago, McKay had diversified into a range of metal furniture.

Antique 19th Century Dovetailed Pine Blanket Chest

Offered is this antique dovetailed pine blanket chest with drawer. It is nice and clean, and has no odors to speak of. It's dovetailed on all 4 corners, and one large dovetail on upper back. The drawer is also dovetailed as it should be.

This chest presents really well. Appears to have been somewhere refinished, or at least stained in the past. Has old iron lock set, which looks original (no key). The hand forged hinges look to be original, based on the outline on the lid interior, though they are missing a few screws. The lid to the till inside is not present. The beehive feet don't appear to be original, largely due to how they are mounted on the underside (see photos). They look good, but some unfortunate liberty was taken with the installation. The drawer front has some wear on the front edges, likely from use. Based on everything we see, it was well used through the years, and retains much of the original charm.

From a Lansford, PA estate, and certainly could be an actual Pennsylvania made blanket chest.

Vintage Zuni Kachina Dancer Bolo Tie

Offered is a large, vintage Zuni Kachina dancer bolo tie. Made of Mother of Peal, coral, onyx and turquoise. It features a Bennet type clasp, which locks solid.

This one is set in nickle, but don't let that fool you. Not every piece of native American art was done in silver. Sometimes an artist did not have silver, so they worked with what they had. It's the same amount of work to create a piece, and just a beautiful.

Large Navajo Pearl Sterling Silver Necklace - 192 Grams - Signed
