Offered is this beautiful Victorian hanging kerosene parlor lamp. It features hand-painted asters on both the font and the shade, set against a soft pink background with complementary green foliage. The decoration is consistent throughout, giving the lamp a cohesive and elegant floral presentation.

The lamp retains its original oil/kerosene burner and has not been electrified, remaining just as it was intended for use. The red brass framework is nicely detailed, with decorative pierced galleries, hanging tubular prisms with green accents, and graceful scroll arms supporting the font.

Condition is very good as found, with only light cleaning performed. The glass components are intact, and the hand-painted decoration shows well. The burner is present, making this a complete and authentic period lighting piece. There is minor wear to the pink on the font, mainly around the kerosene points (burner collar and filler cap)
