Offered is this lovely pair of antique mahogany stands. They appear to be heavy-duty, with a notched skirt under the solid tops. The barley twist column is secure with a steel rod all the way through, and a large nut on the bottom. Great care was taken to conceal the rod at the top. The bottoms have four elegantly carved hairy legs with hoof feet.

They do appear to have been refinished, at least to some degree, in the past. Structurally, we don't see any repairs. There are some very minor nicks here and there, but nothing specific to note. One top has a crack in the grain, but a pair of marble tops (easily acquired) would work perfectly to protect and cover the slight imperfection. It is very possible these had marble originally.

They measure 36-1/2"H x 13"W at the top, and 15"W at the feet
