A sleek and modernist design by Paul Mayen, this lamp embodies the clean lines and architectural sensibility of mid-century lighting.

The piece features a cylindrical white acrylic shade mounted on a chrome-plated steel frame with four vertical supports joined by cross-stretchers at the base. A pull-chain switch hangs discreetly below the shade, preserving the lamp’s minimalist profile. With its geometric balance and subtle industrial edge, this design reflects Mayen’s philosophy of functional elegance and his work for Habitat in the 1960s–70s.

The lamp retains its original pull-chain chrome handle and plastic feet, underscoring its authenticity.

Condition:
Overall in good vintage condition. The chrome-plated brass frame is very well preserved with only light wear, and the lamp is complete with all original feet. Wiring is in good working order. The acrylic cylinder has a couple of chips and a rough edge at the back left top; these do not detract significantly from presentation and could be repaired if desired. The lamp has been priced accordingly.
