Offered is a gorgeous, ornate Victorian era kerosene lamp by Bradley & Hubbard (B&H). This lamp is in its original gilded finish, with the original paint on the lower column. Very difficult to find in this original finish. While this lamp can still burn oil, it is fitted with a Consolidated font, in working order. It does need a wick, if you want to burn kerosene, but that is all. The pink slag glass shade was also with it, and looks so good we decided to offer it as it is.
At some point, someone had improperly electrified the lamp, adding a hole in the font basket for a switch, but the previous owner removed that and put a good font back in it. It can easily be passively electrified again, without harming the font or lamp. We can do this for you at no extra charge, if desired.
There is age related wear to the finish, such as oxidation and wear, and one foot is a little darker than the others. No structural issues, or repairs that we could find.
