Offered is a Late 1930s French Budoir Doll, and she is wearing the traditional Alsace-Lorraine folk costume. This little one was rescued from a somewhat flattened box, which appeared to be original, though not saveable. From being stored that way, her dress and hat are going to need some straightening out, but the condition appears to be excellent. We don't see any moth or other holes from critters, and the colors are quite vibrant. Her face is painted cloth, and she has some awesome eyelashes, too. Her legs and arms are some sort of composition material, and in great shape. Pinned to her her dress is a tag reading FRANCE. We are not doll experts, but please do ask for specific photos if you need them, we are happy to oblige. It does not appear to us that she was ever displayed for any duration. No odors to speak of, either.

She measures about 18" tall.
