Offered is this Mid-Century Modern red plastic lamp, which was designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier.

We have seen these in other colors, but this is the first red specimen of this specific model.

The condition is very good. No cracks or chips in the base or shade. The metal shade support has some wear to the white paint, but it's nothing serious. The plastic lower reflector is also in great shape. There appears to be some minor yellowing of the white plastic piece at the top of the red base, but that's not uncommon for that plastic. Wear is less than would be expected for a lamp of this age.

The cord appears to be in good condition, and could be original. We did check the cord connection to the socket, and made sure the cord could not be accidentally pulled through the base.
