Offered is a massive, antique American slag glass dome chandelier. Made right around the turn of the 20th century, in a grand style for this type of chandelier. It features a crown top, attached to the original 10-panel bent slag glass done, complete with silk fringe. More importantly is that the aged patina on the brass is all original. The slag glass is green overall, with other earthy tones.

Light is provided by the 4 General Electric fat-boy, pull-chain sockets, which are in 100% perfect working order.

All of the hardware is original, and solid brass, including the heavy chain. The canopy is a 3-piece, consisting of the top crown ring, and the 2-part main body, which allows for easy installation. Has been fitted with a modern chandelier cross-bar.

This fixture comes from a stately Syracuse NY home, where it has resided since it was made. A photo of the fixture in the dining room is shown.

Fully rewired with black cloth covered wire and ready to install.

Will be shipped in two boxes, one for the shade and one for the hardware. After the crown is assembled back to the shade (only 5 screws), 2 of the sockets will need to be snapped together. The socket shells needs to dangle to allow it to fit into the top of the shade. This is a simple task, and the installer can easily handle it.

No damage to the original glass. Brass all has aged patina, no polishing or hard cleaning was done. Finishes were sealed to protect.
