Offered is this hand carved wood, articulated jig dancer toy. We've never had one of these before, but are pleased to offer such a delightful and fun example.

It appears to have been stored on one side for quite some time, as it's evident that one side (head facing left in the laid down photo) had quite a bit of dust on it for a long time, and is dull compared to the other side.

The doll is attached to a stiff wire, which is attached to a wood handle.

There is some old white paint on the back, around the upper leg/hip area. Also a tiny chip or two, but no breaks or any apparent missing pieces. The wire and flat head screw have some minor surface rust.

Measures 9"H x 2"W (at the shoulders) and 10-1/2" from front to back of handle

Dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.
