Offered is this antique Cranberry Glass Gilt Scent / Perfume Bottle Chatelaine.

A delightful and diminutive dark cranberry glass chatelaine scent bottle. The heavy chain appear to be original. The bottle has a gilded decoration with blue and white enameled dots.

The glass pinch stopper is likely original, though it is pretty tight in the bottle and we opted not to try to remove it.

Some of the gilt decoration is worn on the bottle, as are a few of the enameled dots, but the bottle itself is fully intact. If you put your nose to the stopper you can smell the old perfume, so it was definitely used as intended. The lid and hinge work perfectly.
