Offered is a stunning, large French antique Opaline glass vase from Baccarat.

Hand enameled by the renowned Jean Francoise Robert, who decorated opaline glass for Baccarat between 1843 and 1855. Some of his signature Morning Glories and Roses can be seen in this excellent example.

This is a large vase, measuring:
Height: 17-1/2"
Width: 8" at widest
Mouth Width: 6-3/4"
Base Width: 6"

Condition:
No chips or cracks. There is one small scratch to the lower right of front. The base was previously drilled to be used a lamp, a procedure not uncommon to examples of similar vases. Typical wear to gold at top and base.
