Offered is a scarce, antique Meissen porcelain perfume/scent bottle in the form of a pillow or cushion. Features tassels at all corners and garnished with flowers and leaves. This is an unusually heavy bottle for it's size, weighing 21.9 ounces.
There are chips to the flowers and leaves, as shown in the closeups. The gilding is in pretty good shape, though worn a little more on the tassels. The stopper has a chip and some paint on one side as seen, but is otherwise good and the bottom part is in good shape with no damage. The bottle does not appear to have any cracks or hairlines.
Marked on the bottom with blue crossed swords, and guaranteed to be Meissen (mark is From 1815).
Measures about 5-3/8" Square, 3-5/8"H with stopper and 3"H without stopper.
