Offered is a Vintage Beige Tessellated Marble Clad Box in the form of an apple. The wood interior appears to be mahogany. The stem of the apple is brass with malachite inlay on the leaf. Made in the early to mid 1980s.

The last picture shows a matching box (sold separately) that was from the same estate. Check our other items for that listing.

No cracks or damage to the marble. The interior wood is in great shape. On the back of the apple are two brass dots to help with aligning the lid with the bottom half.

In the pictures it appears the marble may have a green tint in areas, but there is no green. The green is from the photo background reflection.

Measures about 8"H overall to the top of the stem x about 7"W. The interior is about 3-1/2"H x 3-1/2"W
