Mid-Century Palwa Basket Form German Chandelier

Offered is a mid-century basket-form chandelier with shield shaped prisms by the German maker, Palwa.

Made of gilded brass, it features scalloped scale form prisms that cascade down to the bottom of the fixture. The gilded brass between the rows of crystals has a carved wavy groove appearance. On the bottom are more of the same crystals on a removable panel, which will be removed for safety during shipping.

The fixture has been fully rewired, using new candelabra sockets and brass socket covers. The canopy loop appears to have been replaced, but otherwise looks all original. A few of the screws on the back of the crystal panels were replaced, but that's only mentioned for accuracy.

Measures 18"W x 15-1/2"L as displayed, and about 10-1/2"L without chain and canopy.
